Confirmed: Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey cameo in Singham Again not axed

Actor Salman Khan has indeed joined Rohit Shetty’s cop-universe by including his iconic role, Chulbul Pandey from Dabangg, in Singham Again. The actor shot with Ajay Devgn for a special post-credit scene.

Actor Salman Khan will finally appear in Rohit Shetty’s Diwali release, Singham Again, this year. After various reports suggested that his cameo in the film has been removed for several reasons, it seems like he’s again on board to shoot a fresh post-credit sequence with Ajay Devgn, who’s reprising his role of Bajirao Singham in the film.

A report published in Pinkvilla revealed that Ajay and Salman are shooting for this special scene in the Filmcity today, on October 22, Tuesday. Chulbul Pandey from Dabangg is considered one of Salman’s iconic on-screen roles, and this crossover is going to add more value to Rohit’s cop-universe.

The report quoted a source close to the actor as saying, “Rohit met Salman Khan recently, and spoke to him about the grand plans in place to welcome him. Salman heard it and said, ‘It’s you and Ajay. You are brothers. That’s enough of a reason for me to do the cameo’. The unit is all charged up with this newest addition to Singham AgainMeanwhile, Salman has been absolutely true to his commitments so far. The actor also resumed shooting for his upcoming film, Sikandar, today. A source close to the production exclusively told India Today that the actor has been fulfilling his work commitments as planned.

The source said, “Salman Khan is fully committed to his work. He has been shooting for Bigg Boss 18 with high-level security, and has now moved to shooting Sikandar. His entire team is being careful about the security arrangements and Salman himself has been making sure that no one suffers a delay because of him,” the source said, adding, “he is likely to be shooting continuously till Diwali, which is next week.”

The superstar is also simultaneously shooting for his reality show, Bigg Boss 18, during the weekends.
